We care a lot about quality, traceability and sustainability, and so we NEVER buy tiger nuts on the open market. We only buy our tiger nuts from one carefully selected eco-agricultural supplier in Valencia who cares about quality and sustainability as much as we do.<\/p>\n

Our Tiger Nuts Original are the true Valencian tiger nuts and are quite unique. To be certified and allowed to display the Chufa de Valencia logo, each grower \/ farmer needs to follow strict procedures for growing the tiger nuts organically and sustainably which includes, quality, size,\u00a0 drying process and packing. They ensure that strict quality guidelines are maintained when growing, harvesting and drying these delicious tiger nuts. For example, our Chufa de Valencia are dried for between three to five months and are turned by hand daily. Our tiger nuts are then packed in nut free and gluten free environments.<\/p>\n

This helps to ensure that the drying process is even and that the tiger nuts develop the distinctive taste.
